The company’s story began in 1986 with the entrepreneurial vision of Alain Préfontaine. In the early years, Yvon Bergeron supported him while continuing his own studies.
What started as a simple helping hand grew into a lasting partnership built on trust, respect, and commitment. Today, nearly 40 years later, Yvon remains one of the people who help bring that story to life every day.
What began as a small local excavation business in the Eastern Townships steadily grew through trust, consistency, and long-term relationships.
Today, the company is carried forward by Annie Préfontaine. The “A” in the logo represents her name, but also her father’s legacy and trust, reflecting a continuation of values passed down from one generation to the next. It stands for more than a business name; it represents heritage, responsibility, and commitment to doing things right.
